I have been spotting regularly for 2 years around the 5th district of Budapest, Hungary and here are some of the best places for carspotting that I know of.

Coming in at the first place is Széchenyi István Square. Expensive hotels (Gresham Palace, InterContinental), restaurants (Tokio, VIBE) and some other places (MTA, Sofistiq Casino etc.). The best times for carspotting here are friday nights and saturdays, honorable mentions are thursdays and sundays but honestly you can see cool cars here any day. Plenty of modified cars, crazy drivers (burnouts/slides), supercars, and if you’re lucky, you can even see a hypercar (about 2 hypercars per year, last one was a Chiron les Legendes du Ciel 2 months ago).

Another great place for carspotting in Budapest is from the start Andrássy Avenue until the Heroes Square. Countless designer stores (LV, Gucci etc.), hotels (W Budapest is the one that has a cool car outside almost every day), the Hungarian State Opera House (2 Pagani Zondas were spotted behind it last week) and some other expensive stores. Best day for spotting here is probably saturday.

Last but not least we have Erzsébet Square. 2 expensive hotels (Al Habtoor Palace, Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest), and Fashion Street always has some kind of special AMG on display. There is also an underground parking that sometimes have good cars but most of the times its just like Urus-level or worse cars. You can enter the garage by the elevator and can take photos, but if theres a guy down there in a suit you should come back later. Best days here are probably fridays.

Here’s some extra information you’re gonna need:

· there’s a group of kids camping in the middle of Szechenyi Istvan Square, and they WILL post you on tiktok if they see you running for a car.

· there’s a water fountain next to Szechenyi Istvan Square if you’re thirsty

· Nádor street is an underrated place, sometimes there are nice cars parked there

· security will kick you out if you enter the Gresham Palace Parking (u need to buy a ticket and have a car, but most of the times theres nothing really special maybe a couple sportcars/supercars)

· József Attila Street has a small supermarket called CBA if you want to buy food or drinks and dont want to miss any cars

· There are often car meets on fridays in Várkert Bazár
